CEO Nagaland informs on National Voters' Day
Kohima, January 13 (MExN): In view of the celebration of 15th National Voters' Day on January 25 with a theme “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure” across the country at the State, District and Booth level as directed by the Election Commission of India, the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland has informed all the staffs and officers in the State Government Departments/PSUs and officers to organise the National Voters’ Day (NVD) programme in their respective departments and administer the NVD pledge at around 11:00 AM or at any suitable time during the day on January 25. The photographs of all these events/activities may be uploaded using hastag#NVD2025, on their respective social media handles or website, wherever possible.


DC Kohima calls meeting 
Kohima, January 13 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant,  IAS has issued a circular informing that a meeting will be held on January 16 at 11:00 AM in the DC's Conference Hall, Kohima to discuss visitation of Homes/Institutions by NGOs in regard to the 76th Republic Day celebration at Kohima on January 26. In this regard, the following NGOs have been requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting positively. Presidents of Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union, Puliebadze Club, Lions Club, Royal Club, Classic Club, Rotary Club, Gorkha Public Panchayat Kohima, Hindu Kalyan Samithi Kohima, Indian Red Cross Nagaland State Branch, Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kohima Masjid Committee, and Nagaland Contractors & Suppliers Union.


NNC and FGN monthly meeting 
Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The first monthly meeting of Naga National Council (NNC) and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) will be held on January 27 at 10:00 am in Transit Peace Camp (TPC), Kohima. “Discussion on vital Agendas and taking stock of the present situation to deal with will be the focus of the Meeting,” Capt (Retd) Yirei Lungleng Rali Wall Kilonser, FGN stated in a press release. “Therefore, all the Central Authorities, Regional Authorities, leaders of the Naga Women Federation (NWF), leaders of the Naga Youth Federation (NYF) and high ranking Naga Army officers of the NNC/FGN are earnestly urged to positively attend the Meeting,” it added. 


NSCN (IM) Lotha Region informs 
Dimapur, January 13 (MExN): The Lotha Region officials of NSCN (IM) have recovered two unregistered bikes bearing chassis No.ME3J3C5FAN2037530, Engine No.J3A5FAN223797 and chassis No. MD2A120ZDCNA2520, Engine No.DJZCDM81307. “As such the rightful owners are informed to claim the said vehicles with original documents within seven days from the office of the CAO Lotha Region,” stated a press release issued by P Renthungo Odyuo, Region Secretary, Lotha Region, NSCN (IM).
