Winter Special train between 
Kolkata and New Jalpaiguri

Maligaon, January 24 (MExN): To clear the extra rush of passengers during winter, it has been decided to operate a Winter Special train between New Jalpaiguri and Kolkata for one trip in both directions. Accordingly, train No. 03105 (Kolkata-New Jalpaiguri) Winter Special will depart from Kolkata at 23:30 hours on January 25 to reach New Jalpaiguri on next day. In return direction, train No. 03106 (New Jalpaiguri-Kolkata) Winter Special will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 12:00 hours on January 26 to reach Kolkata at 00:50 on next day. The special train will have stoppages at Aluabari Road, Kishanganj, Barsoi, Malda Town, Jangipur Road, Azimganj, Katwa, Bandel and Naihati stations, stated a press release issued by Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR.

NSCN (IM) mourn demise of Ramthing Jajo 

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Ramthing Jajo, Kilonser on January 16. RH Raising, Member, Collective Leadership, Caretaker Kilo Kilonser in a condolence message stated that Ramthing Jajo of Phalang village under Wung Tangkhul Region joined the NSCN on October 10, 1990. “He served the nation whole heartedly with outmost sincerity and dedication in various role assigned to him as a dedicated national worker. His demise has brought irreparable loss to the Naga nation leaving huge vacuum which would be difficult to fill. The GPRN shall always cherish the steadfast commitment and sacrificial service he had rendered for the sacred cause of the nation with pride and honour,” Raising stated. The leader also has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for departed soul rest in eternal peace.

NSCN/GPRN informs 

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN has informed the vehicle owner with the following details, Vehicle- Etios Liva (Toyota), Engine No.- M25G160058B2 and Chassis No.-MBJK30ET908047809 to claim the same within seven days from the date of publication of this notice. This was stated in a press release issued by TK Shohe, NSCN/GPRN. 

Postal dept to roll out Dak Char Niryat Kendra

Dimapur, January 24 (MExN): To facilitate the exporters based in Nagaland and Manipur state including North East Region, the Department of Posts will roll-out a new facility called Dak Char Niryat Kendra (DNK). With the help of the DNK software, the customers can file Postal Bill of Exports online through the web link created for this purpose and get the export shipments booked at designated DNKs/ Post Offices, Som Kamei, Postmaster General NE-II Region Dimapur stated in a press release. This will reduce the transit time and manual paper works for the exporters, thus facilitating direct export from the region to the buyers from abroad, he added. 13th NLA members informed 
on ‘Clearance Certificate’

Kohima, January 24 (MExN): All the members of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly have been informed that in order to obtain the ‘Clearance Certificate’ from Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat it is adduced to comply with certain guidelines. 
A press release issued by Khruohituonuo Rio, Secretary-in-charge, NLA Secretariat stated that the members would require to produce Treasury challan in accordance with the allotment order of the condemned vehicle (Reserved price/depreciated value), if not to surrender the vehicle. 
All the MLAs are requested to collect the allotment order of their condemned vehicles from the transport branch of Assembly Secretariat from January 27, 2023 onwards during office working hours. 
The members are also have to clear all the outstanding dues of medical advances and advances TA/DA; to hand over the room keys by the members those who have been allotted the room in the Legislator's Home; and to return the Assembly Library Books by those members who have taken.
Clearance certificate will be issued on January 31 onwards from this Secretariat, it stated.
