Governor extends Naknyulüm greetings

Kohima, July 30 (MExN): Nagaland Governor R N Ravi on Friday conveyed Naknyulüm greetings to the people of Nagaland, and especially to the Chang community.  

The festival celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil and love over hatred, the Governor stated in his message.

The centuries-old festival and its rituals signify and embody the deep seated philosophy of the community and its cultural values – of peaceful and harmonious co-existence not only among the people but also with the environment, he added.

While wishing good health, peace and prosperity on the auspicious occasion, “Let us celebrate Naknyulüm festival in its true spirit while observing COVID appropriate behaviors,” the Governor urged.

Peren: District Hospital notifies on Disability Certificate

Peren, July 30 (MExN): The Medical Superintendent, District Hospital  Peren, Dr K Limatula Ao has informed all citizens under the district that, any candidate with physical/mental disability can apply for Disability Certificate from the District Hospital on the first Friday of every month from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

They have been directed to bring any of the following documents: Aadhaar card, Voter ID, ration card, PAN card.

NIC Office shifted to new location

Kohima, July 30 (MExN): The Nagaland Information Commission (NIC) in a notification dated July 26 has informed that the office of the NIC, Nagaland, Kohima has been shifted to a new location, and all necessary correspondences may be communicated to the mentioned address:
