Rio announces new NPF central office bearers
Kohima, June 26 (MExN): Naga People's Front (NPF) president and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has appointed new central office bearers of the party for the 2025-2030 tenure. In an appointment order issued from the NPF Central Headquarters in Kohima, Rio said the appointments were made in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under Clause 7(a) of Article V of the party's Constitution. According to the order, Langhu Paulhring Anal has been appointed as the party's Working President, while Joseph Adani and Johnson Ankang have been appointed as Vice Presidents.
3rd batch of coaching sponsorship programme begins in Aghunato
DIMAPUR, JUNE 26 (MExN): The third batch of the coaching sponsorship programme under 34 A/C Aghunato has commenced under the leadership of G. Ikuto Zhimomi, Advisor for Land Resources, Government of Nagaland. The programme is being sponsored through the Local Area Development Programme (LADP) Fund as part of efforts to support youth through education and career development. A press release stated that the initiative has recorded positive outcomes through its first two batches, with several beneficiaries securing appointments through the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC), Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) and various departmental examinations. Encouraged by the results, the third batch has been launched to provide aspiring candidates with an opportunity to prepare for competitive examinations under professional guidance.
