
NSCN/GPRN (Niki) assigns Chairman for Lotha Region
Dimapur, March 19 (MExN): The Ministry of Kilo Affairs, NSCN/GPRN has assigned Eyingo Lotha as Chairman of Lotha Region with effect from March 17, until further orders. According to a press release received here on Sunday, an order for the assignment issued from the office of Secretary, Kilo Affairs, NSCN/GPRN has informed Eyingo Lotha to assume office within 7 days of issuing the order.
Unidentified dead body found in Kohima
Dimapur, March 19 (MExN): The Kohima Police on March 18 recovered an unidentified dead body of a male, aged approximately around 40-50 years old, below T Khel Model Village, Kohima. The deceased is of darkish brown complexion, about 5.3 feet in height and was wearing black trousers, the Kohima Police PRO informed in a press release received here on Sunday. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body has been kept at North Police Station morgue for identification. KWON mourns demise of KTCN leader
Dimapur, March 19 (MExN): The Kachari Women Organisation Nagaland (KWON) has mourned the demise of Ramesh Hasnu, President, Kachari Tribal Council Nagaland, who passed away on March 18.
“Ramesh Hasnu was a humble, honest, soft spoken man of integrity who was always ready for any community service calls. In his demise our Kachari community has lost a tall leader who absence will be very hard to fill,” the KWON said in a condolence message issued through its Media & Communication Cell.
Thanking the departed leader for his service to the community, the KWON offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
