DC Kohima advisory on firing exercise
KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 18 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has informed that the 13 Assam Rifles will conduct small arms firing practice from December 1 to 31 at the Firing Range, Kohima Garrison. The public has been advised not to enter the firing range and not to take cattle for grazing near the area during the period in view of safety concerns.
NSCN(IM) announces cabinet reshuffle
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 18 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has announced a reshuffle of portfolios within the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) carried out on November 17 and 18.
According to a statement issued by the NSCN (IM) Ministry of Information and Publicity, member of the collective leadership KP Huray has been assigned charge of the Ministry of Kilo Affairs. AC Maring will take over as the new head of the Ministry of Information and Publicity.
Meanwhile, the Ceasefire Monitoring Office has welcomed its new convener, Brig (Retd) Imnatemjen, MSM, who is also an executive member of the NSCN steering committee.
