
SAKD condemns
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 30 (MExN): The Sumi Aphuyemi Kuqhakulu Dimapur (SAKD) has condemned the tragic accident where a speeding car NL-10-C 0749 hit one Aboto Achumi, who died on the spot while another passerby was critically injured at 3rd Mile area, Dimapur, around 11:30 pm on October 26. A press release from the SAKD appealed to the law enforcing agency to book the culprit and give befitting punishment as per the law. The SAKD also extended condolence to the bereaved family.
Deputy CM Zeliang extends Chaga Gadi/Langsimnyi greetings

Mock drill to be organized by DDMA in Mokokchung
MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 30 (MExN): Thsuvisie Poji, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), announced that the DDMA in Mokokchung is preparing to conduct a mock drill on November 2. The exercise is part of their readiness measures to respond to emergencies. The mock drill is scheduled to commence at 9:00 am and will take place at five different locations within Mokokchung Town. In light of this, the public of Mokokchung town is requested not to be alarmed during the execution of the mock drill. Cooperation from the public is sought to ensure the smooth execution of the exercise and to assist all stakeholders involved. The five different locations where the mock drill will be conducted are Imkongmeren Sports Complex (Local ground) Mokokchung, Dilong Government High School, Model Higher Secondary School Arkong Ward, Mokokchung Municipal Complex, and Jubilee College Salangtem and VidiVici Villa Private Building Aongza Ward.
