
ANGPTA calls emergency meeting
Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): The All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers' Association (ANGPTA) have convened an emergency meeting to discuss the matters relating to seniority, delaying in getting salary every month, upcoming conference etc. The meeting will be held on September 30 (Saturday) 10:00 am at Hotel East Inn, Banquet Hall, Opp. Hotel Saramati, Super Market Dimapur. Therefore all the Central team and District Units have been requested to attend the meeting positively without fail. This was stated in a press release issued by Hoshika H Sumi, VP (Admin) Central ANGPTA.
Travel advisory for Mon district
Mon, September 27 (MExN): DC Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma IAS has issued a circular dated September 26, 2023. In view of the tense situation recently arising out at Sonari, Charaideo district of Assam in connection with the unfortunate incident of Vehicle accident which occurred at Angjangyang Sub - division of Mon District and as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident in the region, all Vehicle engaged in Public Transport and related activities have been advised to refrain from travelling from Mon District to Assam/Dimapur and vice - versa via Sonari, Charaideo, Assam route untill situation return to normalcy. Further all the individual/private vehicles planning to travel via Sonari, Charaideo, Assam route have been advised to avoid taking the above mentioned route and to travel via alternate route till the situation normalizes.
NSCN/GPRN (Khango) mourn demise of Nitokhe Chishi
Dimapur, September 27 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN (Khango) has condoled the demise of Nitokhe Chishi, Kilonser, of United Sangtam Region (USR) of Sitimi Village under Kiphire district who passed away on September 26.
The MIP of NSCN/GPRN (Khango) in a press note stated that Nitokhe Chishi enrolled the Naga National service in 1994 and served upto the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in military wing. On deputation he served in central secretariat up to Under Secretary and later inducted in political wing as well and served the nation tirelessly with full commitment, dedication, true spirit of patriotism and nationalism for the cause of the Naga national movement till his last breath. “His sacrifices and innumerable contributions and remarkable service in various capacities for full 29 years towards the Naga nation shall ever be cherished and treasured in the pages of the Naga history,” it stated.
Further, it conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
