Change of guard at NTWTA Dimapur

Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Two Wheeler Taxi Association (NTWTA) Dimapur District conducted its change of guard programme at its office premises on September 13, with induction of  Benjamin Swu as President and Honko Konyak as General Secretary  for the tenure 2022-24. 

The Association will function from its new office located at Room No. OA43, Naga Shopping Arcade, informed a press release from the district unit. 

NSCN/GPRN discharge Kilonser 

Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN has formally discharged S Nihokhu Awomi, Kilonser, PR&NGOs, NSCN/GPRN from active national service with immediate effect. A discharge notification issued from the office of the Ato Kilonser stated his service rendered for the cause of the nation shall ever be remembered and recorded in the annals of the Naga history, informed a press release from the MIP, NSCN/GPRN. 

NSCN (IM) condoles

Dimapur, September 13 (MExN):  The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN IM) has expressed shock over the demise of three of its members on September 10.  The demise members were Major (Retd) H Athiu, Razou Peyu from Sajouna village and D Veini, Leacy  from Phaibung Khunou village, both under Shepoumaramth Region and Ng Berachung, Khapur, from Penaching village under Khurmi Region. Late Athiu, served in the NNC since 1966 and later joined NSCN on July 25, 2017 while late Veini joined in 1993. “They all served the nation with full dedication and loyalty till the last breath. Their tireless service rendered for the Naga nation shall be cherished for all time to come,” stated a condolence note from the MIP NSCN (IM).  It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayers that the Almighty God will give them the strength to bear the loss. The NSCN (IM) also wished the departed souls eternal rest in peace.
