Physical verification of pensioners from Oct 10
Kohima, September 15 (MExN): The Treasury Officer Kohima South has informed all Pensioners both Life and Family drawing pension from Kohima South Treasury, that Annual Physical Verification for 2022-2023 will be held from October 10 to 21 at the Treasury Office, Kohima South Treasury during office hours. All the pensioners are to appear physically along with PPO Book, Renewed NPA ID card, Life Certificate, and Non-Marriage Certificate. Failing which payment will be stopped.
NNC and FGN joint meeting
Dimapur, September 15 (MExN): A joint meeting of the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) will be held on September 26 at 10:00 am in Transit Peace Camp (TPC), Kohima. Therefore, the FGN in a press release has requested all the Central Authorities, Regional Authorities, and high ranking Naga Army Officers of the NNC/FGN to attend the meeting. Further it informed to all Midan Peyus, FGN to positively attend the meeting with brief report on the ongoing situation in each region.
Unidentified body found
Dimapur, September 15 (MExN): On Tuesday, Dimapur police has recovered one unidentified dead body (non-local male) age around 50-60 yrs (approx) below Fly Over Bridge, near auto-rickshaw parking, Dimapur. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body was shifted to Dimapur District Hospital Morgue for PM examination/identification. The deceased had a black mole near the nose and was wearing black long pant, grey colour t-shirt and dark in complexion. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, East Police Station, Dimapur or contact at 7085055020.
