As a community service, HORUA Welfare Society, a Non-Profit Organization (NGO) from Indisen Village Dimapur organized a road repair drive on November 1 by filling up the potholes on the National Highway 29, which passes through Indisen Village. The road stretch has been in a very deplorable state for a very long time making it inconvenient for the commuters due to the inconceivable number of hollow potholes. Department of Social Welfare, Mon organised a launching programme of verification cum disbursement of pension under various schemes such as NSAP, Blind, Disabled Scholarship at Longwa Village, Mon on November 1. District Welfare Officer Mon, Y Tauhong Ngonyen encouraged the beneficiaries to open bank accounts and IPPB account in post office for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
