An ambulance for Mongsenyimti Primary Health Centre, Mongsenyimti village was dedicated by Rev Imti Ozukum, Pastor, Mongsenyimti Compound Baptist Church in the presence of Minister PWD, Mechanical and Housing Tongpang Ozukum, Mongsenyimti Village Council members, Limala EAC, Chuchuyimlang Circle and medical staff on June 8. Medical Officer Dr Rachel said the ambulance service will immensely benefit the surrounding villages which come under the PHC. Tongpang Ozukum hoped that the PHC management team and Mongsenyimti Village Council will work hand in hand and utilize the ambulance judiciously as it is for the benefit of all the villages under Mongsenyimti PHC. 

Nagaland MLA and Advisor Power, Tovihoto Ayemi held a meeting with Dimapur District Task Force for COVID-19 to take stock of the COVID-19 situation in Dimapur which was attended by DC Dimapur Rajesh Soundarajan IAS, Nodal Officer Kikheto Sema IAS and other officials. A discussion was held relating to rise in COVID cases in Dimapur. Ayemi advised the district officials to work to ameliorate the grievances of the people. He also donated his one month salary to DC Dimapur to be used by the DTF in order to strengthen the fight against COVID-19 in Dimapur.

Additional Chief Secretary & Chief Resident Commissioner along with officers and staff of Nagaland House, New Delhi planted around 200 tree saplings of different varieties at Nagaland House, 29, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi on June 8. Wokha Forest Division distributed over 15,000 saplings on World Environment Day 2021 to various Armed Forces and Nagaland Police. This included 40 Assam Rifles, DEF Wokha, Home Guards & Civil Defense, 7th NAP, CISF Doyang, Police Outpost Doyang, 7th NAP C COY Changpang, Liphanyan Police Outpost, Police Outpost Chukitong and 40 Assam Rifles D COY Chukitong. Wokha Forest Division also distributed over 30,000 saplings to different institutes, villages and NGOs for plantation activities to mark the occasion.

DAYO Signal Unit provided lunch package to police personal from Signal to Dhobinala junction, Dimapur as a mark of appreciation and support to the frontline workers on June 8. 

Umeed Society, Dimapur in collaboration with Western Sümi Youth Front (WSYF) distributed essential commodities to four villages under Niuland Area on 8 June. Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Churches & Ao Civil Societies Co-ordination Committee on COVID-19 are continuously providing lunch to the health workers and offering prayers in all COVID hospitals and Covid Care Centre including CMO staff. “Today (June 8) was the third round of free meal service for COVID warriors in Dimapur. As they continue to support health workers, the team will also provide refreshment to all the frontline workers on Thursday in and around Dimapur,” a press release stated.
