Participants of the awareness program on menstruation hygiene conducted by CHI in collaboration with Women Helpline 181, Breeze Women Welfare Society, Dimapur 24/7, powered by Menstrual Initiative Nagaland on the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day (WMHD) on May 28 in Dimapur. Loreni Sophia, Advisor of CHI, emphasized that menstrual products need to be more accessible and affordable to decrease period poverty. She further stated that governments, decision-makers, and educators must take menstrual hygiene and education more seriously. 

The Clinical Research Unit for Homoeopathy (CRU-H), Dimapur, Under Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH in collaboration with Prodigals Home organized a free Homoeopathic Health Camp and community based screening camp for HIV detection in migrant workers at Ram Thakur Mandir, Railway Colony, Dimapur on May 27.

The Department of Posts in collaboration with the ‘You and Health Team’ conducted a free health camp on physiotherapy and diet on May 28  at the office of the Postmaster General NE-II Region, Dimapur. The ‘You and Health Team’ comprised of Dr Tiatula Longkumer (PT), MPT, Neurology; Dr Inavika Swu (PT), BPT, (PT), BPT; Dr W Soni Phom (PT), BPT; Zuthonglo Odyuo, Clinical Dietician, Msc, DDHN; along with two other staff. 25 employees of the department availed the facilities provided by the team of experts. 

Menstrual Hygiene Day was observed in all the Ayushman Bharat- Health and Wellness Centre (AB-HWC) of Mokokchung district on May 28. Keviphunu Khatso, Counsellor, Adolescent Friendly Health Clinic (AFHC) and her team also visited Artang Government Middle School, Mokokchung and provided special counseling session to the students and teaching staffs.
