Dr Eyingbeni Humtsoe-Nienu, Principal of Baptist Theological College, Pfutsero released a Book entitled ‘Economic and Climate Justice: Towards A Sustainable Livelihood’ edited by Dr ZK Pahrü and Dr Wati Longchar on September 23. Christian ministers, theological students, activists and researchers may find this book as a handy resource in understanding and responding to the present reality, stated a press note.
In commemoration of 75 years of India’s Independence, an awareness programme on HIV, TB and bood donation was organized by Nagaland State AIDS Control Society under the aegis of National AIDS Control Organisation, Ministry of HFW, GoI in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club of Sakus Mission College on September 24. Mecievinuo Zhotso, District Programme Officer, Kekuoseno Peseyie Senior Tb Lab Supervisor (District Tb Centre) and Orenthung, Supervisor (ICTC) were the resource persons.
Hindi Diwas 2021 has been celebrated at National Institute of Technology, Nagaland with Dr R P Acharya as the chief guest. Dr S Venugopal, Director, and Prof R Kumar Registrar NIT Nagaland distributed the prizes to the winners of various Hindi competitions.
Workshop on doormat under Umang programme was held at Cherry Blossoms School, Kohima on September 22 and 23. It was organized by NEZCC, GoI in collaboration with Department of Art & Culture, Nagaland and Cherry Blossoms Society, Kohima. Cherry Blossoms School, Jo Foundation, Tabitha Enabling Academy and GMS Aradura attended the workshop along with two teachers and eight special children under the guidance of Seli Tucker, Naomi Domeh and Purnima Kayina. Lampha Konyak, Dy Director, Art and Culture graced the closing programme as special guest.
