The Distribution of Rubber Roller Machine under Post COVID- 19 Economic Recovery Plan and RIDF XXIV in Nagaland for rubber growers of the two districts of Mokokchung and Longleng District under the Department of Land Resources was held at Tuli, Mokokchung in presence of ADC, Tuli and DPO of Longleng and Mokokchung on August 5.

Minister for Tribal Affairs and Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along launched the official website of the Department of Tribal Affairs on August 6 at the Chief Secretary’s Conference Hall, Kohima. Addressing the programme, the Minister stated that the department has entered its second year and is working towards the welfare of the people of the State and its beneficiaries. Chief Secretary and AHoD Tribal Affairs, J Alam, IAS stated that all departments should have proper updated websites and information should be available to the people. He also added that websites help in establishing credibility and transparency and in that line, the website has been developed. (DIPR Photo) 

Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change donated 3,000 tree samplings to be planted in and around the Nagaland Medical College, Phriebagei, Kohima premises. A tree plantation drive was held on August 6 at the site of the college. Minister of Health & Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Amardeep, S Bhatia, IAS, a host of senior officials of the Directorate took part in the drive. Dr I Talitemsula Jamir, Mission Director, Dr Visasieu Kire (Director), Dr Thorusie Katiry, Director, Dr Theyiephrezo, Director and other officials from the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare also attended the programme. DRDA Mokokchung donated COVID-19 Medical Equipment to the Chairman DTFC/Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung and officially released the COVID-19 IEC Materials printed in Ao and Sema dialect for distribution to all rural households covering 87 villages in the district on August 6.
