The recent visit of Dr Robert Lyman, FRHistS, a writer and a historian and his team from United Kingdom on November 11 at Kiherii Jotsoma, Nagaland included laying of a wreath at the Japanese Memorial Monument. The note on the wreath laid at the Memorial reads, “In memory of all the brave soldiers of many nations who gave their lives for their countries during the battle here at Kohima. April to June 1944. With the aim to encourage games and sports amongst school children, 78 Bn, CRPF, Zubza procured various type of sports items which include table tennis board with tennis bat & balls, volley ball, volley ball net, basket ball, badminton racket and shuttle cock etc for the Don Bosco School Zubza. The sports items were formally handed over to the school management of the Don Bosco School, Zubza in a Civic Action Programme organized on November 16 which was attended by officers and men of 78 Bn, CRPF, school staff and students of the Don Bosco School, Zubza.
