The Sungkomen Baptist Church, Youth Ministry, organised a cleanliness drive as part of their ‘Care to Clean Mission’ on November 25. The youths cleaned the dumping area at the Town square, near the taxi parking point. The Sungkomen Youth Ministry, with the objective of creating awareness about self-service for cleanliness, conducted the cleanliness drive.Canara Bank Kohima Branch extended CSR package under its Canara Vidyajyoti Scheme at GMS Dzüvürü (Porterlane) Kohima on November 24. The Canara Vidyajyoti Scheme provides one-time scholarship to meritorious girl students from government aided schools belonging to ST/SC category. It aims at encouraging girl child education among the ST/SC community.Christ King Church Kohima Village celebrated the Feast of Christ the King on November 26. The main celebrant of the Holy Eucharist was Rev Fr Jose Kuruvahira sdb, Salesian Provincial of Dimapur Province. During the Holy Eucharist, 44 children received the Holy Communion for the first time.
