The CRC International 4th Convention was held at Webuye, Kenya, Africa from November 3-5. Rev Dr N Paphino, President CRC International Association wrote the 'Revival History' which was dedicated by Rev Vangpong Phom, President NCRC. The convention was attended by members from different countries. Presently the CRC churches have been established in 15 countries. The Revival was started from Nagaland on January 9, 1962.
Government Middle School (GMS) Bayavü, Kohima conducted an exposure trip by hiking to Mt Puliebadze, Jotsoma in Kohima district on November 7. An update from the school informed that while climbing up the mountain the students collected the plastic waste and wrappers and dispose to the waste bins. The hikers also got a first-hand experience of identifying the various plants, herbs and trees besides the site seeing from the mountain to marvel the Kohima city and its surrounding areas. More than 50 alumni participated in the drive. The JNV Chukitong Alumni Association, President, T Zuchanthung Lotha in an update stated that the association was established in 2011 with the mission to create a network of alumni in fostering a spirit of mutual help and good will among the members and collectively contribute for a better society. Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of DLS Mission Shakti, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa inaugurated a sanitary napkin vending box at the DC Chamber on November 7. This initiative is part of the efforts of the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) in Tuensang. The DHEW in Tuensang has taken the initiative to manufacture sanitary napkins locally and distribute them to various women's hostels within the district.
