Dimapur Baptist Women Union (DBWU) organized social work in District Hospital, Dimapur on April 9. According to DBWU President, Khontele Seb more than 250 members representing 30 different Baptist Churches in Dimapur participated in the social work. The event began with prayer in the chapel hall. Along with the medical staffs, DBWU members prayed for the sick, doctors and nurses, and for everyone present within the hospital premises. 'The Tombstone in My Garden', a collection of stories written by Padma Shri award-winner Dr Temsula Ao was released at Dimapur on April 9.
A free medical camp was held at Yimkummer Senior Citizens Day Care & Support Centre, Tuli on April 8 with Dr Arenla Tali, Dimapur as resource doctor. Altogether 76 senior citizens availed free check-up and medicines. The event was organized and sponsored by Yimkummer Welfare Society Tuli.
