The Women’s Ministry of United Nagamese Christian Church Sovima marked the festive season by organising a special event at Dimapur Railway station on December 29. In a heartwarming gesture, they distributed dinner packs to support and bring cheer to the less fortunate and destitute individuals within the community. Vongva Village Council held its 13th citizen meeting under the theme ‘Educating young citizens for engaged citizenship’ with Rasuka Jacob as the speaker. Jacob exhorted the gathering to be good citizens by participating in every event of the village irrespective of being big or small. He fervently emphasised on the need for oneness in any sphere of activity in the village. The meeting was chaired by Hosito Elias as Chairman and Matthew Litsu as Secretary. Folk songs were presented by Vongva Students’ Union and team of Mahkhekiu Benjamin.
