The Department of English of Jubilee Memorial College (JMC), Mokokchung organised the celebration of International Mother Language Day on February 21. The event included a variety of activities such as cultural performances, speeches, and presentations by students and faculty members.

International Mother Tongue Day was celebrated at Baptist Mission School, Jotsoma with the leaders of Jotsoma village. Headmaster of the School, VJ Thomas welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of mother tongue. Jotsoma village Chairman, Rodolie Nagi exhorted the students with the history of Jotsoma village. Zakiebeito Senotsu, Head GB spoke on ‘Moral Education in Naga culture’. Neilhouzono Nagi, Chairperson of BTKJ spoke on ‘The importance of Mother Tongue.’
The Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung and Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA), Clark Theological College (CTC), Aolijen signed a Partnership Agreement on February 19. The agreement aims to collaborate on the development and delivery of Peace Studies and Programmes, including joint teaching, research and capacity building activities between the institutions. The institutions were represented by Dr Lipokrenla Jamir, Associate Professor and HoD, Department of Pol Sc, FAC and Moasenla, Coordinator, CCPRA, CTC and witnessed by Dr I Wati Imchen, Principal, FAC and Rev Dr A Tali Ao, Academic Dean, CTC.
Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School, Dimapur observed International Mother Tongue Day on February 21 with a special assembly and school prayer highlighting the importance of mother tongue and its significance. PVHSS Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee shared the objective of observing International Mother Tongue Day, followed by other presentations. 
Valedictory function of JAOs/STOs and JDAs probationers were conducted at Treasuries & Accounts, Training Institute Dimapur. Zubenthung Murry, Sr TO Kohima congratulated the trainees on completion of training. Limatemsu, Sr TO Kohima emphasised the trainees that they are the image of the Department and encouraged them to bring about a positive change. The programme was chaired by Temsuinla Aier, Jt Director Trg, invocation by Z Vighoto JAO speech on behalf of the trainees was delivered by Kedimenba Kichu, JDA and Khriemenuo Thur, STO/JAO. 
Two-day training of Peer Group Leaders (PGL) on Module 2 & 3, under NECTAR Lighthouse, DoSE was conducted at EBRC Ahthibung on February 19 and 20.  The training was attended by 14 school heads who are PGLs with Chathou, Program Manager, NECTAR, DoSE as resource person.
