ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), the development wing of Salesians of Don Bosco Dimapur Province conducted a seven-day capacity building training for 42 programme managers, project coordinators, project managers and project officers from January 13 to 19. The training was held at the AIDA Head Office, Don Bosco Campus, Dimapur. The resource persons were Rev Fr Roy George, Rev Fr N Angel Kuldeep, Dr Anna Lungbila, Joseph Mathew, Lanthou Mark Gonmei and Garrol Lotha. Rev Fr Roy George, Executive Director, AIDA briefed on the purpose of the training.

The newly recognised Jakphang Hongha village was inaugurated by EE Pangteang, MLA 48 Moka A/C on January 18. MT Tahkai, Pastor Jakphang Baptist Church dedicated the monolith before it was unveiled by the MLA.
Yimkhiung Tribal Council (YTC) held a seminar on documentation of handloom and handicrafts of the Yimkhiung Naga community with Hanji, Vice President, YTC and Kinan, Social & Cultural Secretary as convenor and secretary of the Documentation Team respectively on January 18 at Yimkhiung Awün (Y/Anner) village. Toshipokba Longkumer, Ex MLA and O Tinu Longkumer, former intending candidate from 26 Aonglenden “unanimously resolved to come together” in the upcoming general election and “work together with one vision and one goal for the better of the constituency in support of Toshipokba Lkr,” Media Team, 26 Aonglenden BJP stated in an update. “To further the cause of all round development in the constituency, both the supporters of former MLA Toshipokba and Tinu have decided to join forces and work together,” it stated. Further, it stated that they “unanimously resolved to nominate Toshipokba as the intending candidate from 26 Aonglenden AC” and both parties have decided to put their differences aside and work towards the overall development and betterment of the constituency.
