
KMC revises rate of broiler chicken
Kohima, June 6 (MExN): In a partial modification of its May 19, 2022 order, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has revised and fixed that the rate of broiler chicken at Rs 230 per kilogram with ‘immediate effect till further order.’ However, the rate of all other chicken will remain the same as before, informed an order issued by the KMC Administrator on June 3. The rate of de-feathering of any fowl will be Rs 10 per piece, it added.
School Education Dept designates RTI officers
Kohima, June 6 (MExN): In pursuance of Sections 5 & 9 of the Right to Information Act, 2005, the School Education Department has designated new Appellate Authority (AA), Public Information Officer (PIO) and Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO) in the department. The State DIPR informed that at the administrative level the new AA is Commissioner & Secretary Kevileno Angami while Additional Secretary T, Yanpvuthung Kikon is the PIO. Joint Secretary Z eneikhonuoVimero will serve as the new APIO.
At the Directorate Level, the AA is Principal Director Thavaseelan K while Additional Director Razouseyi Vese and Deputy Director B Nellayappan respectively are the PIO and APIO.
NSCN-K (Khango) terminates one from membership
Dimapur, June 6 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Khango) has terminated Athrichum Sangtam, Deputy Secretary from both active and primary membership of Naga National service with immediate effect.
In this connection, an Ahza (Order) has been released from the Chief Secretary Office on June 6, informed a press release from MIP NSCN-K (Khango).
As per the release, Sangtam’s membership was terminated for “breaching the‘Party Discipline’ and deviating from the prescribed ‘norms of conduct’ of the government.”
“Henceforth, the membership of the said cadre shall cease to be validated and effectively bear no responsibility,” it added.
