Visasielie Suho of Kohima District Rifle Shooting Association, M. Tiatemjen Jamir and Kimatsung Jamir of Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, KIC, Dimapur participated at the recently concluded NRAI National Coaches Course for Rifle and Pistol organized by National Rifle Association of India under Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ) and conducted by Assam Rifle & Shooting Association at Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam from April 24-30.
Football assessment was conducted on the fifth and last day of KIRTI assessment in IG Stadium, Kohima on May 1. Students from various schools in Kohima underwent a series of tests followed by event-specific assessment and endurance test. The 5-day rising talent identification programme was conducted for 5 sports disciplines- archery, athletics, wrestling, boxing and football, by the Department of Youth Resources and Sports (DYRS) on collaboration with SAI, NERC Imphal.
