The Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony at DMI St Joseph Global School, Chümoukedima was held with great enthusiasm and joy on April 29, marking a significant milestone in the lives of the little graduates. The event was graced by Temjenkala Aier as chief guest and Rev Sr Dr Mary Jehani as the guest of honour. The event was moderated by Loinoli Yepthomi.
MGM College, Dimapur on April 30 hosted Rev Dr Father Stephen Touthang, Director of the Catholic Educational Society, Manipur for a session on “How to Lead Your Journey.” The event was attended by faculty members, staff, and students. Pehiareudi Zeliang, PMW in the keynote address shared about the causes, symptoms, prevention and treatment of leprosy. Somaya, Sr PMW, gave a short talk on leprosy and highlighted about the various activities carried out in the district A mini health camp was held after the awareness campaign. Free IEC materials were distributed. Ngimwang, Pastor, Zeme Baptist Church, Khelma invoked God's blessings and Rosina, PMW gave vote of gratitude.The District Hub for Empowerment of Women, under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative and successfully organized a one-day crochet making workshop for girls in Niuland on April 30. The event aimed to empower young girls with vocational skills and promote self-reliance. EAC, Kelengunuo Solo addressed the participants and presented certificates to the 20 enthusiastic girls who attended the workshop.
