Er Picto Shohe MLA Nagaland with church leaders during the 58th Atoizu Area Church Leaders Fellowship held at Awotsakili Village under Atoizu Sub division on May 8.In order to foster environmental awareness and sustainability, Eco Warriors Nagaland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unity College, Dimapur on May 8. The MoU was formally signed by Dr Lichumo, Principal of Unity College; Dr Menosenuo Senotsu, Convenor of Eco Club at Unity College; and Lesemew. M, Chairman of Eco Warriors Nagaland. Team member Ningdanglong Longchari was also present during the signing ceremony, symbolizing the shared commitment between the institution and the environmental group. The partnership is expected to lead to a series of green initiatives, workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs. The NSS Unit of Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima, embarked on an educational tour to Raj Bhavan, Kohima, Nagaland.During the interaction with the Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, the students were made aware of the role and responsibilities of the Governor. They were also given the opportunity to ask questions about current affairs and gain insights into the political landscape of Nagaland.The visit to Raj Bhavan provided the students with a firsthand understanding of the administrative processes and protocols associated with the highest office in the state.(Photo Courtesy: PRO, Raj Bhavan)Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur celebrated ‘164th Birth Anniversary of the World-poet Rabindranath Tagore’ and observance of ‘Bengali New Year’ on May 9 at Pranab Jubilee Auditorium. The Principal Monoj Bhattacharjee, in his maiden speech, described the life, career and contributions of the poet-philosopher Rabindranath Tagore. The special guest KK Paul, President of Bengali Samaj, Dimapur presented the autobiography of the world poet. The rank holders and subject State highest achievers of the Vidyapith were felicitated by the Chairman, Principal and other dignitaries presented in the occasion. Words of blessings chanted by Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, chairman of the Vidyapith.
