Minister, PHED and Cooperation Jacob Zhimomi paid a visit to Union Minister of Cooperation and DoNER, B L Verma, in New Delhi. A wide range of discussions were held with the Union Minister including issues to develop cooperative sector in Nagaland, notably resurgence of Cooperative movements in villages through diversification of activities, creation of development clusters and establishment of banking infrastructure. A one day training of Field Investigators (FI) for the State Educational Achievement Survey (SEAS) 2023 was conducted in Peren town hall. The training was jointly organised by the 3 EBRCs of Peren district (Peren, Tenning & Ahthibung). A total of 109 FIs, drawn from government and private schools of the district, attended the training. ADEO Peren, Alemla Imti welcomed the gathering and keynote was delivered by Megosevi Kuotso, Assistant Director, DoSE, while Aheto Chophy, Sr. SDEO Peren encouraged the participants. The medical condition of lady became extremely critical during the delivery and villagers sought help from AR ToB deployed in the outskirts of Nokyan, village. Timely efforts of the nursing assistant saved the life of the mother and child whose condition post delivery was extremely critical and both out of danger now, informs the Assam Rifles.
