Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), District administration & Mahila Shakti Kendra (DLCW) Longleng organized a four-day skill development training on baking for educated and unemployed women. The training was held at Vomshak's Treat Kitchen Longleng from October 28 to 31 with the aim to generate self employment and also to empower the trainees for small enterprises. Electoral Roll Draft Publication was conducted at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang on November 1. The session was chaired by Deputy Commissioner and DEO Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant. Speaking in the programme, the DC encouraged checking doubtful list and urged everyone to put all effort to clean the E-roll so as to have a clean election. Unclean e-roll will also create problems and tension during elections, he added. ADC and ERO Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma also advised the party members to utilize the supervisors and BLOs so that every eligible member can be enrolled in the rural areas. He also advised the party members to appoint BLA and let the BLA mobilize for complete entry in the rural areas. The draft publication session was attended by all political parties of the district.
