Department of Post Nagaland Division conducted the written quiz for Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude and Research in stamps as a hobby) in Livingstone Foundation International Dimapur, Kohima Head Post Office and Ladybird School, Mokokchung. Altogether 240 students applied for the scholarship, out of which 93 appeared for the written quiz on September 4. Under the scheme, students of class VI-IX who have good academic record and pursue philately as a hobby will be awarded scholarship of Rs 6000 per annum. 

Rotary Club of Dimapur received ten district awards for its exemplary services rendered during Rotary year 2021-22. The awards function was held at Shillong. Apart from receiving team awards for Significant Service Citation, Membership Retention, Rotary Foundation, Outstanding Club in District 3240, the Club President Bajrang Bucha and Pankaj Modi received Dynamic and Outstanding President, Secretary Award respectively. Assistant Governor Ashok Agarwal who was incharge of Six Rotary Clubs received Dynamic Assistant Governor Award.
