Ao Senden Literature Board launched an Ao Alphabet Video titled, “Tanurtem Tetsü Oshi Melamelaa Angazüktsüren” at Ao Senden Conference Hall on September 5. The video was released by Watsü President, Arenla Longkumer. Seen in the photo are members of ASLB, AKM and Watsu president after the launch of the programme.
Department of Post Nagaland Division conducted the written quiz for Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude and Research in stamps as a hobby) in Livingstone Foundation International Dimapur, Kohima Head Post Office and Ladybird School, Mokokchung. Altogether 240 students applied for the scholarship, out of which 93 appeared for the written quiz on September 4. Under the scheme, students of class VI-IX who have good academic record and pursue philately as a hobby will be awarded scholarship of Rs 6000 per annum.
