Er Gwatilo Tep, SE, Dimapur Circle, PHED Nagaland felicitating the Best Performing Villages under SSG 2023. Under PHED Dimapur Division three villages namely Kiyeto from Chümoukedima district, Kuda village from Dimapur district and Ghokito from Niuland district were felicitated as the best performing villages at the programme.
NCC orientation for the 60 newly enrolled cadets was held on September 9 23 at the St Joseph’s University seminar hall. Colonel CST Swami, Commanding Officer of 25 NL NCC Unit who was the lecturer for the orientation was piloted by Cadets Dan of Education Department and Toki T Zimo of BSW Department. Dr Marsosang Pongen, CTO, NCC delivered the welcome address.
As part of the college extension activities and to promote science education in the rural areas, the science stream faculty members of Phek Government College visited the Government High School, Old Phek Village on September 12. During the visit, the faculty members engaged with different classes, conducted a demonstration of science experiments, specimen display etc and encouraged the students to take up their career in science.
