NDWM-Nagaland Region organised leadership and communication programme for women in Bill Pathar on March 1. Resource person, Fr Inashe explained on the women leadership. “Female leadership is inclusive, encourages participation and shares information and power with those she leads. She tends to create and strengthen group identities. They are generally capable of considering the human side of individuals and generate high levels of empathy,” Fr Inashe said. The second session, Sr Pramila UFS coordinator of NDWM Nagaland Region spoke on women's rights.

The 14th Sumi Hoho Trophy kick started at Suruhuto town on March 2 with Minister, PHED Jacob Zhimomi as chief guest of the inaugural programme. The eight day event organized by Sumi Games and Sports Association will conclude on March 9. All together 20 affiliated units of Sumi Hoho are participating in two disciplines, football for men and volleyball for men and women, apart from these the 20 units are also competing in cultural competitions. Advisor, Tourism, Art and Culture, H Khehovi Yeputhomi delivered the welcome address while Sumi Hoho President brought the greetings.

Logos College, Sovima observed its 22nd foundation day on March 1. Rev Dr Neikedozo Paphino, founder President of Logos Ministries addressed the congregation. Sebastian Zumvü, village chairman of Sovima along with his colleagues graced the occasion. Zumvü in his speech urged on the need of the theological students to be involved not only in the preaching ministry but also to render a hand to the society in need by giving a good education and health care, for these needs are equally essential. 

Baptist Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Tseminyu organized its 34th annual sports’ week from March 2 to 4. Kegwayhun Tep, President NSF attended the inaugural ceremony as the special guest. The programme proceeded with the unfurling of flag, followed by the school anthem which was led by the ECP. Inspection of Contingents and March Past were held during the formal session. 

One-day block level training for School Management Committee/School Management and Development Committee members was conducted at EBRC Ahthibung on February 28. Liyalo Apon, Deputy Mission Director, Samagra Shiksha, Kohima, gave the keynote address. Topics of the training included UDISE, NIPUN Bharat, Out of School Children (OoSC), Inclusive Education (IE) Kapu Chishi, state coordinator, and Sesulu, state coordinator, Samagra Shiksha, were other resource persons.
