The Excise department, Wokha carried out destruction programme at the Office premises in the presence of the public and the Destruction Board on February 7. A total of 1816 bottles of assorted liquor were destroyed. The revenue deposited to the Government treasury through fine was Rs 1,44,000. The market value of the destroyed articles was estimated to be around 4.27 lakhs approximately, stated a press release from Vithoselie Terhuja, Superintendent of Excise and Prohibition, Wokha. The Agro Servicing Centre was inaugurated at Chozuba by L Hangshin Joint Director, Department of Agriculture on January 30.
