The Tsüngremmong Angling Competition that was held on August 1 and 2 at Süngkotenem Lake, Mopungchuket as part of the Tsüngremmong Hornbill Festival Mokokchung 2018 culminated today where a total of 86 anglers competed. Imtisenla, Tourist Officer Mokokchung gave away the prizes to the winners in the presence of EAC Kobulong, C. Phuniang and Mopungchuket Village Council elders. The prize distribution ceremony was also attended by members of the Anglers’ Association Mokokchung. The biggest catch award was won by Yapang, while Tongpang and Moasenba won the second and third places respectively. Bendangtoshi won the most number of catches award while Temsu won the highest gross weight award. Angling enthusiasts from Mokokchung, Longleng and Wokha participated in the competition.
