Ladies Club Mokokchung is organizing three-day sales at MMC Shopping Complex, Mokokchung with the objective of promoting local entrepreneurs which was declared open today in the presence of Kilemsungba, District Horticulture Officer, Mokokchung as special invitee. Some of the prominent items for sale are live plants, art and craft, handmade items and homemade food products. Ladies Club Mokokchung was formed in the year 1982 and the proceeds from the sales will go towards the club’s building fund. The sales will go on till October 12. The Evangelical Baptist Convention Church under its Karbi Anglong Field area organized a youth revival camp from October 4 to 7 at Sunrise Colony, Dimapur. Youth members from Kohima, Dimapur, Manja and Diphu attended the camp. On request made by the church, the 5th Assam Rifles provided mattresses and erected tents for campers and church members.
