ATMA Tuensang organised Exhibition cum sales day on 70th Republic Day celebration, at Parade Groud, Tuensang. Three Farmer’s Interest Groups (FIGs) from Chessore, Sangsangyu and Noklak block participated in the exhibition. Farmers’ Award and cash prize were given to outstanding individual farmer and groups. (DIPR Photo)The team members of National Tobacco Control Programme for Kohima district destroyed seized tobacco products on January 29 at KMC Dumping site, Kohima. Kohima District Nodal Officer, NTCP, Dr. Arenla Walling said that the various types of tobacco products have been seized from 68 shops near educational institutions in Kohima and imposed fines from the violators. The seized products were burned down at KMC dumping site towards Meriema Village in the presence of Kohima District Administration, Angami Mechu Krotho (AMK) and Police Department.
