A total of 64 youths from Zeliangrong, Borlengri and Samaguri, participated in a one-day seminar on ‘Mission’ at Zeliangrong village, Dhobinala on February 3. The event which commenced with a praise and worship led by the students of Salesian College of Higher Education witnessed a talk on mission and presentation of items from various villages. Representatives from the villages presented the report of activities they had organized in the past year and discussed plans for the coming year.

The camp was organized by District Health Society, National Programme for Control of Blindness & VI and the team was led by Dr Phyantsuthung Eye Surgeon, staff nurses and Opthalmic Assistant. Altogether 25 cataract surgery and 15 minor surgeries were done by the team. (Photo Courtesy: District Media Officer, NHM Wokha)Nagaland Pradesh Youth Congress (NPYC) members participated in the North East Youth Congress protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) at New Delhi on January 31.Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Longleng district organised a Kisan Mela cum Agri and Allied exhibition on January 26 at the district local ground. It was inaugurated by PWD Minister Tongpang Ozukum. Six departments viz. ATMA, Agriculture, Horticulture, Land resource, Fishery and KVK Longleng took part in it. Farmer beneficiaries especially SHGs from different villages were invited to exhibit and sell their local produce and agricultural by-products. Farmers were briefed on the purpose and operation of Kisan Call Centre (KCC) and Kisan Suvidha mobile app. Flagship programmes and schemes were also highlighted by certain departments.
