Students and staff of Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Dimapur conducted a cleanliness drive with the theme “Chalo Swacchhta Ki aur” on September 29. The school also pledged to mark Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary with respect and to commit a pledge for ‘Swacchhta Hi Seva’.
Electrical Inspectorate, Nagaland State Designated Agency (NSDA) on Energy Conservation organised Green Village initiative at Okotso Village, Wokha on September 29. Electrical Inspector, Er IV Chishi delivered the keynote address. He highlighted the need and importance of energy conservation and demonstrated energy saving potential by using energy efficient luminaries. A press release from the office of the Chief Electrical Inspector informed that the department also distributed free energy efficient LED bulbs, LED tube lights and LED streetlights.
