The Nagaland government has urged a "whole-of-society" approach involving churches, mothers, teachers and youth to fight the drug crisis. Will this multi-group approach be effective? Give reasons

Yes:
•    Combined with sincere intention and effort.

•    This will be a good initiative by the Nagaland Government. Drug problems are very common in the state since 1970s-1990s.I truly appreciate the Naga Mother's Association (NMA) and other civil societies for their valuable efforts and contributions in our society and Nagaland government taking up this issue will be a milestone

•    To achieve this goal needs cooperation and commitment.

•    Unity is strength.

•    When the whole society stands up for a common cause, everything is possible to achieve. This menace needs to be eradicate from the grassroots starting from its source in the plantation fields of Manipur upto the courier and peddlers in every street and every corner of the locality. Together we can...

•    Yes a wholitic approach is required to fight the drug crisis. I hope the state politicians and government will make a dedicated effort to involve all sections of society.

No:
•    Drugs/alcohol are nothing but "virus" and addiction is nothing but a disease. Unfortunately, total containment of drug crisis cannot be guaranteed but partial control is possible.

•    Even God cannot solve all the problems in Nagaland.

•    What about the Fathers? Are they not part of society? As urged as a whole society, it should be the whole of the society. And then maybe it can work out.

Others:
•    Any approach to fight drugs must be a multi approach. But most importantly there must be the political and moral will to do that. The government is right in calling the entire Naga society to curb this menace, but this is not enough. It requires the courage and a well thought out strategy to fight drugs.

•    Large institutions, groups, names and ambitions! Let us hope it'll be effective.
