Dimapur, July 17 (MExN): Petrol prices were hiked again by 0.29 paise per litre across Nagaland on July 17 after a day break.  However, oil marketing companies (OMCs) keep the prices of diesel stable for second day on Saturday.

The cost of diesel was Rs 94.76 and Rs 91.99 a litre respectively in Tuensang and Dimapur on July 17, as per the official IndianOil One app. Fuel prices in Nagaland are highest in Tuensang and lowest in Dimapur.

Petrol prices breached the Rs 100-a-litre mark across Nagaland on July 15, with Dimapur joining other districts in reaching the threshold. Tuensang and Kiphire were first to crossed the threshold on June 26.

With Saturday’s hike, petrol prices have been hiked nine times, while remaining stable for 8 times till July 17.

Diesel prices, however, have been 5 times, while remaining unchanged for 11 times and decreasing once.
