The two suspects arrested by Nagaland Police personnel of Narcotic Cell PS (PHQ) on September 14.
Kohima, September 16 (MExN): Nagaland Police personnel of Narcotic Cell PS (PHQ) while conducting surprise MVCP at NH-2 at around 6:00 pm on September 14, intercepted one Guwahati bound XUV 500 (Black) B/R No.AS01-DJ-8364, near the bridge between Khuzama and Viswema village, which was coming from Imphal, Manipur.
The SP Kohima in a press release stated that a thorough check of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of 15 packets containing approximately 1,50,000 tablets of suspected Yaba (WY). Accordingly, the occupants namely, MD Salman Khan (32) and Abdur Rajak (38) were arrested and the illegal contraband along with the vehicle duly seized. A case has been registered for further investigation, the police informed.
