Kohima, August 19 (MExN): A felicitation and award programme for children of Nagaland Police personnel who topped the 2022 HSLC and HSSLC examination was held on August 18.
Nagaland DGP T John Longkumer felicitated the toppers and presented the DGP Commendation Certificate along with Rs 30000 per achiever to all the 13 meritorious students in recognition of their excellent academic achievement and performance, a press release informed on Saturday.
The DGP congratulated all the achievers and their parents for their dedication and sacrifice and wished them the best in the days to come.
The award was given to encourage the pursuits of excellence in education. The award incentive to the meritorious HSLC & HSSLC students was sponsored by the ‘IPS Nagaland Chapter’ and ‘NPS Association Nagaland,’ the release stated.
The programme was chaired by Vikram Ezung, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Ops) and senior Police officers of PHQ, unit commanders and other meritorious students and parents also attended the programme through video conference from various parts of Nagaland, it said.
