Nagaland Police informs U/R or A/F vehicle owners

Kohima, May 27 (MExN): The Nagaland Police today informed all vehicle owners using Applied For (A/F) or Under Registration (UR) number plates to register the vehicles at their respective Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) to 'avoid inconvenience or legal/statutory fines.'  Vehicle owners should carry certificates, receipts, or documents issued by their respective RTOs in case of U/R or A/F, the police stated in a public announcement.  Nagaland Police will take legal action because, apart from the violation of the Motor Vehicles Act, such vehicles are prone to being used for criminal activities, it added.
