Kohima, February 4 (MExN): SP (SCRB) & PRO PHQ has stated that in compliance to the Model Code of Conduct and in its continuous effort to serve better, the Nagaland Police Department has been conducting raids and searches and made huge seizures of IMFL all across the state.
Through a press release, SP (SCRB) & PRO PHQ stated that after obtaining permission from court for pre trial destruction a total of 3,068 litres and 7,843 nos. of seized IMFL were destroyed by the Nagaland Police on different occasions, in the presence of Magistrate, Dobashis and others.
Of the total quantity of IMFL destroyed, 7,843 were from CP Dimapur, 2,494 from Mokokchung DEF and 339 from Longleng DEF.
“Nagaland Police continues to seek public cooperation and support during this time for conduct of free and fair election,” it added.
