KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): As per a press release from the PRO, Nagaland Police Headquarters, suspected heroin was seized from a vehicle at the Narcotic Checkpoint in Khuzama on February 23 and three men, including an 18 year-old, were arrested. The release, issued through the DIPR, informed that the suspected contraband was recovered from a car (MN 01AG 3041) during routine frisking. It was found concealed in soap cases and weighed approximately 220 grams. The three accused were identified as Hengul Lhouvum (37 years), Holminthang Baite (30 years) and TS Haolensei Baite (18 years), all hailing from Senapati district, Manipur. They were booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and further investigation was on.
