Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre celebrates Golden Jubilee

Director General of Police, Nagaland, TJ Longkumer, IPS has said that the Nagaland Police would without fear uphold the dignity and honour of its name and would be unwavering in its effort to usher in peace in the state.
Speaking at the golden jubilee celebrations of Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre, Chümoukedima on Tuesday at the centre’s premises, Longkumer said that the police would also make the state a safe and secure land for all to live in. He said that the entire police force would work together to make NAPTC a centre of excellence and uphold the dignity of service for all ranks.
He pointed out that the NAP and IRBs who had served in various parts of the country bringing laurels to the state were all groomed and trained at the NAPTC and lauded all commandant and trainers both past and present. He described the Centre as a “nursery for armed forces” stating that all were trained at the Centre.
Longkumer also added that the Nagaland Police had played a pivotal role in Naga history as peace keepers and would continue to make the state a peaceful place.
Earlier, the DGP unveiled a jubilee mural and joined in tree plantation marking 50 years of NAPTC’s existence. He also released the jubilee memento and souvenir.
