No candidate has filed nominations so far for the 2023 elections to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.This was confirmed from office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, at the time of filling this report on February 2.The last date for filling nominations is February 7.
The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and BJP have announced the list of candidates today for the polls, scheduled for February 27.
Naga People’s Front (NPF) will be issuing the party ticket in Kohima on February 3 at 11:00 am at NPF Central Office, Kohima. The NPF will also release the party manifesto on the same day. The NDPP will also be holding a ticket ceremony cum launching of election campaign on February 3 at 11:00 AM at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima.
