Nagaland Polls: Casting of postal ballot for officials on election duty
Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): The casting of the postal ballot for officials on election duty to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) began on February 20.
The casting of the postal ballot for Phek district for officials on election duty began on February 20 at DC & DEO office in Phek. The casting of postal ballot votes will continue up till February 24.
The other locations include the DC office, DP office, Police station Meluri-Chizami-Pfutsero- Chozuba, 5NAP Hq Phek, 5NAP Coy Hq Pfutsero, 5NAP Hq. Meluri, 5NAP Hq Cheteba, GHSS Phek Of Phek District, stated a DIPR report.
The casting of the postal ballot for 2nd NAP personnel was conducted at 2nd NAP HQ Alichen, Mokokchung on February 20. The casting for Nagaland police personnel under SP office Zunheboto commenced at Satakha PS on February 21.

In Tuensang, police personnel cast their votes through postal ballot at Deputy Commandant office 3rd NAP Tuensang.
Meanwhile, in view of the ensuing general election 2023, the ballot box for postal votes has been sealed for 59 Seyoching-Sitimi AC & 60 Kiphire -Pungro AC on February 20 at the DC office Kiphire.
A DIPR report stated that the task was carried out in the presence of Renbomo ADC & RO 59 AC, Robin ADC & RO 60 AC, Ane Khieya EAC HQ Yitachu EAC Pungro and representatives of the political parties.
The DC & DEO Tseminyu, Dr Zasekuolie Chusi IAS has informed all concerned who applied form-12 for the postal ballot under 12-Tseminyu A/C that the tentative dates for the casting of votes are indicated here: Polling personnel/Grade IV on February 21 and 22 at facilitation center/Baptist Higher Secondary School Tseminyu at 10:00 am onwards; AVSC/AVPD/AVCO on February 21 and 22 at the respective given address at 10:00 am onwards; Police personnel DEF Tseminyu, B/4th NAP on February 23 and 24 at Baptist Higher Secondary School Tseminyu at 10:00 am onwards; Official/Staff on election duty under DEO Tseminyu, Drivers/Cleaners, and other officials/Staff on election duty on February 25 at DC office Tseminyu at 10:00 am onwards.
