
Services temporarily suspended on July 14
Kohima, July 5 (MExN): The Department of Posts announced the rollout of its next-generation Advanced Postal Technology (APT) application across all post offices in the Nagaland Postal Division from July 15, marking a significant step toward digital transformation.
To ensure a seamless transition, a planned downtime has been scheduled for July 14, during which no public transactions will be conducted. This temporary suspension will facilitate data migration, system validations, and configuration processes, the Superintendent of Post Offices (HQ), Nagaland, stated in a press release.
“The APT application is designed to offer an enhance user experience, faster service delivery, and a more customer-friendly interface, reflecting our unwavering commitment to delivering smarter, efficient, and future- ready postal operations,” it stated.
The Department of Posts has requested customers to plan their visits accordingly and apologized for any inconvenience, assuring that the upgrade will enable faster and more digitally empowered services to every citizen.
