Pughoboto, October 12 (MExN): The Pughoboto Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board meeting was held on October 11 at DB Hall, Additional Deputy Commissioner Office Pughoboto under the chairmanship of MLA Y Vikheho.
The house reviewed the last meeting minutes on the discussion for shifting of ADC office Pughoboto to the new building along with the subdivision office of industries, PWD (R&B), IPR, YRS, and NRE Department which is located in its premises.
A DIPR report stated that Chairman SDPDB Pughoboto, Y Vikheho Swu informed that the main purpose for constructing the office within an area was to provide better services to the people and better coordination between departments. He asked all the concerned department personnel whose office buildings are completed to prepare for shifting to the new building and also enquired about the status report of the offices and to submit before 25th October and added that the Chief Minister would inaugurate soon. The Board also discussed setting up a Fire Station at the Pughoboto sub-division. Chairman Vikheho thanked the public of Pughobto town for the successful implementation of the monthly cleanliness drive which is held on the last Friday of every month.
Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Pughoboto Veronica Yeptho gave a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the various welfare schemes undertaken by the Department for the farmers.
