Nagaland today received a share of Rs 415.15 crore as part of the monthly tax devolution for all states and union territories in the country in view of the upcoming festive season.
A total of Rs 72,961.21 crore was authorized by the Union Government for the release of tax devolution to the state government for the month of November.
Released ahead of the usual date of November 10, the Union Government has iterated that it will enable the State Governments to make in-time releases and add to the festivities and celebrations among the people.
As per the state-wise breakup of net proceeds of union Taxes and duties released, Nagaland received a share of Rs 415.15 crore.
